The Ivan Gastaldon Story
Hi, I’m Ivan – Architect, Designer & Creative Director
For as long as I can remember, design has been my work, my passion and my play. I’ve always had the unique ability of seeing how all the intricate details of design come together to create a unified whole. I don’t see architecture as a “job”; rather, it is a lense from which I view the world.
With more than 30+ years of experience crafting traditional, heritage and contemporary designs for Brisbane residents, I am perhaps most well known for my work with Trebilcock & Associates Architects, with which I co-owned and operated for 28 years with my business partner Derek Trebilcock.
After our hugely successful partnership, we decided to branch out individually to offer client’s our unique brand of architecture. At Ivan Gastaldon Architects, I continue to emphasise a collaborative, pen to paper approach, while demonstrating masterful craftsmanship and ensuring each one of my clients has my total and complete dedication.
It was at this time were I was also awarded Fellowship by the Australian Institute of Architects for demonstrating a significant contribution to the architecture profession beyond my architecture practice.
Bearing witness to the joy on my client’s faces is what motivates me to do what I do. It is my personal mission to exceed every one of my client’s expectations – bringing their vision to life in a way that reflects who they are and embodies the lifestyle they want to live. It is a privilege to be able to craft thoughtful, intuitive spaces from which meaningful experiences can be shared and enjoyed.
